Lightning Bolt: 20

The mighty Lightning Bolt have dug up a 21-minute song from a 4 track cassette recorded in 1997. Doesn’t sound very exciting? This is Lightning Bolt, people! They can make 20 minutes of the same hammering beat into something hypnotically fascinating. After the first 20 minutes it shifts into something else, breaks down, stops. Less is definitely more, particularly when played loud, and these two are living proof of that. Take a listen, it’s amazing stuff.
